Jeanna began her fitness career as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and worked as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor at a local healthclub. It was during this time that she was invited to become certified to teach Pilates through PHI Pilates. Jeanna fell in love with the Pilates Method and the consistent results it gave to her various clientele. She went on to further her study of Pilates at Body Precision Inc. in Bryn Mawr, PA, completing their comprehensive Teacher Program of over 725 teacher training hours. Jeanna founded The Pilates Connexion, Swarthmore, PA in 2011 with a mission to share her passion of Pilates with the community. Jeanna's business goal is to provide the best Classical Pilates she can through not only her education and experience, but through hiring the most highly skilled and enthusiastic teachers to represent her studio and beliefs. Jeanna brings her background of personal training, athletics and gymnastics to her teaching and thrives from the benefits Pilates provides for all body types, sports and lifestyles.
Jeanna also holds a special certification through the Pink Ribbon Program which enables her to work with Post-Operative Breast Cancer survivors. Jeanna helps women regain their confidence and range of motion to the affected area following various types of operations following Breast Cancer diagnosis.
Jeanna is also a Wellness Advocate for doTerra and is certified to perform AromaTouch Technique, an application of 8 different essential oils applied along specific energy meridians for an unparalleled grounding experience.
Jeanna resides in Swarthmore with her husband and 3 children and boasts that Pilates kept her in shape throughout all three pregnancies and is by far the best workout to get back to pre-pregnancy shape. Jeanna's husband and children also practice Pilates!
